Sara joined the firm as an Associate Attorney in January, 2019. Sara previously worked in a plaintiff’s firm, so she uses her experience as a plaintiff’s attorney, to successfully defend the firm’s clients.
In 2018, she graduated from Mitchell Hamline College of Law, where she was a member of the ADR society, Litigation Society, and was a Hybrid Program Student Ambassador. She also obtained the CALI award in Mediation.
Sara is a daughter of Marshall, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in English Education. Prior to law school, Sara taught English for nine years in the coalfields of Mingo County. She was also a Summer Intern for the Mingo County Prosecuting Attorney, and worked full time as a law clerk for a civil litigation firm in her third year of law school.
Sara’s practice is primarily focused on medical malpractice defense, healthcare law, and products liability. She is admitted to practice in the state courts of West Virginia and the United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia.
