Samantha is a Member of the Firm where her practice is focused on medical malpractice defense, healthcare law, employment law, products liability, and environmental law.
She graduated from the University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law. During law school, Samantha served as co-chair of the Student Bar Foundation, and was elected as Public Service Chair of the Student Bar Association. She competed for two years on the Arbitration team, competing in Omaha, Nebraska, and Highland Heights, Kentucky. She also competed in the National Immigration Moot Court competition in New York, New York. At the end of her third year, she received the Leon Seidman Memorial Award for commitment to the community.
Samantha is a two-time Marshall alumna, earning a bachelor’s degree in print journalism and a master’s degree in history. Prior to law school, she reported for the Charleston Daily Mail, The Herald-Dispatch, and the West Virginia Record. She also served as a research assistant at Marshall University for Jean Edward Smith, a Pulitzer-Prize nominated biographer and historian. She is a native of Point Pleasant, W.Va.
